Challenge:

The challenge in this project was to conduct a compliance audit of a large steel manufacturing plant for a leading corporate. This audit required detailed inspection of gantry cranes and other structural elements by structural engineers. Working at heights above 15 meters and coordinating work schedules with the furnace shutdown posed logistical challenges.

Solution:

To address these challenges, the team carried out inspections and tests on steel and concrete elements while adhering to safety regulations and working at considerable heights. They carefully scheduled their work to align with the shutdown of the furnace. This approach ensured that the audit was conducted effectively and safely.
